Policies

PAYMENTS AND POLICIES:

Please be aware that The Red Hook Country Inn will accept VISA or MC and personal checks to guarantee bookings and we accept final payment by check or cash. Prices are quoted for cash/checks reflecting a small discount.Thank you!

Individual room reservations cancelled within 15 days are subject to a minimum of one night's charge.  Early departures are charged full rate.

Since we need the time to prepare our home for your arrival, we ask that you honor our posted check-in time beginning at 4PM and checkout at 11AM.

Bookings made through advertised packages  are subject to a 15 day non refundable cancellation policy.

Special arrangements may be made for earlier or later arrivals and late checkout upon request with a nominal fee.

Courtesy calls for later arrivals (after 8PM) are greatly appreciated!

There is a two-night minimum stay on weekends from May through November. All holiday 'periods' throughout the year and certain event weekends (such as Parent Weekend, Sheep & Wool Festival and other holiday weekends) may require 3 nights.

Please feel free to call or email if you would like just one night as our bookings may be such that we will have your night available.

PLEASE REMEMBER: All individual room cancellations within 15 days are non refundable and 'shortened stays' forfeit any remaining balance. All reservations are subject to a $25 restocking fee if cancelled more than 15 days in advance. Group bookings are subject to a 6 month cancellation policy if all names/credit card guarantees are not on file. .

WEDDING RESERVATIONS: ALL BOOKINGS FOR THE ENTIRE HOUSE ARE AT THE SPECIAL RATE OF $7500 AND INCLUDES 10 GUEST ROOMS TO SLEEP UP TO 25 GUESTS. A FULL BREAKFAST DAILY AND YOUR CHOICE OF ONE LUNCH OR CASUAL LIGHT DINNER (EVERYONE DINES TOGETHER) ON EITHER DAY OF YOUR STAY. COMPLIMENTARY WIFI, CABLE TV, SEASONAL A/C, FANS, LUXURY LINENS AND GILCRIST AND SOAMES AMENTIES. Daily housekeeping, 24 hour coffee/tea/hot choc/apple cider and cookies! 

DEPOSIT: $2000 (non refundable) BY PERSONAL CHECK WITHIN 48 HOURS OF BOOKING. $2000 at 60 days in advance and $3500 at time of arrival. 

A service fee of 5% is added to all bookings in lieu of room gratuities.
